Overall, an enjoyable read but I do wish it was a bit more memorable. This was such a fun book. She randomly gets sucked back in time – to the ‘s. They should have a son and if it can be managed, he should be handsome. What age do you think this book is suitable for?

Anyway, past that this book actually has a pretty good plot, with a serious treatment of s Civil War and s civil rights stuff interwoven into it. Plus, her best friend is mad, her parents are split up, and her younger brother gets escorted home by the police. I guess I just wanted more emotion, more explanation. More believable timeline, less wishy-washyness.
Plus extra bonus intrigue I wasn’t expecting! It is an interesting adventure with some surprising connections.

I liked her interactions with the various people in the past, particularly Willie and his family, how she hid her knowledge and stuff strausw the future, how she survived in the s. And I did enjoy the surprise visit to the s, which gives you insight on that time period and that character. Having said all of that, I still like the characters and overall I’m enjoying this light read.
I adored how the narrator embodied everything the author said about the main character, Casey. Already starting the 6th book!

This is a great novel for young adults. Why or why not?
A Million More Pages: I was a bit shocked by the ending of the book, but at the same time what do you expect when a guy changes his life for a chance with you To me Nate seemed very shallow at first but exhibited the most character development of any of the teens in the book.
Obviously when dealing with time travel, you do not want to mess things up for the future, but many times she seems like an old lady instead of a teenager. Completely recommend, when done with the others. Happy Another great installment from the clockwork collection the author never stops adding more entertaining adventures and challenges for our time explorers.
