I kind of expected more of Lila as a character, here she just look like a little scary cat. So if you love tortured boy’s who’s pasts haunt them, then I have a feeling you may love Lincoln just as much as I did.

Their relationship is a secret, but Lila feels closer to Lincoln than anyone else. About two people who have had their life experiences show them that they are changing and that even with the excitement of what may come; there is fear.

And while I absolutely loved how the story played out, there’s still so much that they need to accomplish in life. I still think this. I may not be able to help myself. When Lila uncovers it, the dynamic of their relationship changes, and they must deal with their feelings for one another in person. Hurting Lila is the last thing Lincoln wanted. The romance was so sweet and I loved how they had a past mcyarry being friends and writing letters and how they would meet again now. Let me preface that saying I went right from reading Pushing the Limits to reading this one.

Crossing the Line (Pushing the Limits, #1.5)

But there were also times when i just couldn’t believe what she said sometimes. She remained by Echo’s side through everything she was going through and that alone proved she was an amazingly good person.

Looking back, I can’t quite believe this was so short because it felt very full to me. And I am glad I did, I really enjoyed the story! Graduation is now upon both Lila and Lincoln, and they’ve made plans to meet up again in college.

Not that he was a weird kcgarry or anything, just so you know. Some of our favorite YA novels have guys in them described as well muscled and hot abs and things like that.

Does anyone know where you can get a paperback copy of this book? A I haven’t read the first in this series, but I don’t think I’ve missed out on much with this one. Until she finds out that he lied to her about the one thing she depended on him for the most. Which is totally sweet! This is a fantastic novella in its own right and can easily be read independently. I love the idea of falling in love through letters.

Overall, Crossing the line is a short and sweet story that tells a journey of self-realization.
