But with a man like Roam after you, Lacey can only kaey so far and for so long; in the end, Roam gets his “sugar,” and Lacey gets her HEA. Roam is everything an alpha male should be and the way he treats Lacey in the book, except for at the beginning, is how a woman like Lacey deserves to be treated after everything she had to endure. Any time you can put hot alpha males together with cowboy boots and tight Wranglers, it’s a win for everyone.
And I was surprised because he was actually amazing to her all the time. That is until an unexpected wrench is thrown into the mix and triggers her to run from Roam fightig her happiness. You will be happy to know that this book is a stand-alone with a Happy Ever After and boy is it a great ending. It millsteae an interesting story line with the right amount of suspense, sexual tensions and lots of sex that kept me on the edge!
