Despite these drawbacks, I found this novel to be a great read and very much worth it to people who enjoyed the first book. Lists with This Book. But that history goes back much further than they could have possibly imagined….
But the Guardians still remain, and plan.

Bob Mayer can pull a story together like very few other authors I’ve read. An interesting and engaging continuation of book 1 with an ending I didn’t expect. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. I’d forgotten how addictive these books are!
During the course of events we also learn of a new secret organization called S. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t Shakespeare, but they’re all good, fast, easy, and eminently entertaining reads.
The plot-line was well done, and a little twisty. Very fast-paced read with lots of interesting military bits thrown in, this is well worth reading. Otherwise enjoyed the story. The characters are interesting though apparently no one is safeand every This continues in the same vein as the first book, Area But an archaeology prof The Area 51 series continues growing strong.
This is a really good book. I think one of the best things about Mayer’s books is that there is almost never any downtime. Enjoyable for what this series is.
I loved the first book in the series. I’ll have to read it again. The only other thing about this which I found less than a five-star novel was that the dohertj really let the military side of his writing go wild here. McCuistian rated it it was amazing. Thus in many ways it’s pretty ridiculous, and disbelief needs an extra level or two of robeft, but for a light action adventure story I was quite happy.

Wow – what a fun and fast read!! And what’s happening on Mars? It picks up mere days after the end of the first book, with the world struggling with the effects of the events which take place in the first book. Can’t wait to continue this series.
